I would very much like to see this, as well. I have been running a local
LanguageTool server for ages (just like I run LSP locally). There are plugins
for Firefox, Thunderbird, LibreOffice, TexStudio... this is really a normal
part of the ecosystem. Why would KDE be opposed to this?
