I removed the Application Launcher widget from a secondary Panel. After that,
the notification that the widget had been removed showed. I was still in the
panel edit mode, and I clicked the close button on the widget removal
notification. That is when Plasma crashed. The panels and desktop background
image did not re-display. I locked the screen and then unlocked the screen, and
then Plasma started and the Dr Konqi window displayed.
The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.
