SUMMARY
Accented letters (such as àèìòù) render as normal letters

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Type accented letters in the text field (in my case I'm using extended UK
layout, so for example I'll first press ` and then a, to generate à)
OBSERVED RESULT
Letters are not accented
EXPECTED RESULT
Accented letters should render correctly
