Bug ID: 475342 Summary: Clicking on a Firefox based browser will input previous keys and key combos from another app to it Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: 5.27.8 Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: wayland-generic Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: 1sk8p...@anonaddy.me Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When I press some keys or a key combination on one application and then focus to my browser (either LibreWolf or Firefox,) some of these key inputs will be duplicated to the browser. So if, for instance, I'm in Inkscape and press CTRL+S to save and then I go to my browser, it will interpret a new CTRL+S and open up the page save dialog. For some reason this doesn't happen on any other application or on Chromium based browsers. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Press something like a bunch of keys or key combos on any application 2. Focus on a Firefox based browser OBSERVED RESULT The browser takes duplicate inputs from the other application. EXPECTED RESULT The browser shouldn't think anything was pressed. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Arch Linux (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
