USB external drive no longer visible in KDE "Disks and Devices" seems to lock
up plasma.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Plug in USB Drive
2. Remove Drive
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
Device does not appear in "Disks and Devices"
Locks up Plasma
Removing drive returns things to normal
It is a 1TB 2.5" SSD in an external caddy with USB interface, VFAT formatted
EXPECTED RESULT
Ability to access drive via file manager

Linux/KDE Plasma:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If I plug in a 16GB USB drive containing a Tumbleweed ISO KDE works as I expect
