This issue is not fixed by the fix of bug #362988 at the same system :
A right click onto a file and "Copy to..." to a previously remembered
destination still doesn't work.
tested at a stable Gentoo with QT 5.6.1, KF 5.27, Plasma 5.7.5 and 16.08.1
And: opening an sftp:// location and clicking on PDF/TXT/PNG or other files
work, for a JPEG file however the assigned application showFoto gets an empty
file (KolourPaint works fine)
