Bug ID: 370410
Summary: Bug tracker says all that is needed to create an
account is to enter and confirm an email address,
which is false
Product: bugs.kde.org
Version: unspecified
Platform: Gentoo Packages
URL: https://bugs.kde.org
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
When trying to create an account, it says: "To create a KDE Bugtracking System
account, all you need to do is to enter a legitimate email address. You will
receive an email at this address to confirm the creation of your account. You
will not be able to log in until you receive the email. If it doesn't arrive
within a reasonable amount of time, you may contact the maintainer of this KDE
Bugtracking System installation at [email protected]."
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to create an account.
Actual Results:
It tells you all you need is to confirm an email address, and then it comes out
and asks you to make a password.
Expected Results:
Not trick the user into ending up with *yet another* password to keep track of.
