Bug ID: 476523
Summary: Krita correctly displays the colors of an Adobe
Photoshop psd file in the thumbnail of recently opened
images, but does not display them correctly when the
file is opened
Classification: Applications
Product: krita
Version: 5.2.1
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: File formats
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
In the Krita thumbnail preview of a recently opened image from an Adobe
Photoshop psd file, the colors are displayed correctly (see the following
screenshot of the preview, note the red colors of the letters "PODC"):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/12KoX3vqM_pBQ95vYM4TQ5QL66UUP4Cbg/view?usp=drivesdk
But when the image is opened, the colors are incorrect (see the following
screenshot of the opened psd file). Note how the red color of the letters
"PODC" is displayed in red in the thumbnail, which is correct since it is the
original color in Adobe Photoshop, while when opening the file in Krita the red
color is changed to blue:

I understand that if the colors are showing correctly in the thumbnail of the
recently opened image, it means that Krita can correctly interpret the
Photoshop psd file, then I understand that it is a bug that it does not do the
same when the file is opened.
I can send you the original psd file by email so you can see the problem.
