SUMMARY
Thumbnails do not work for DOCX and DOC files (and possibly other Microsoft
Office formats like xls files)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a docx file (you can use the one attached) and put it into a folder
in Dolphin.
OBSERVED RESULT
No thumbnail is generated.
EXPECTED RESULT
Thumbnail is generated. For Open Document formats, this already works thanks to
a fix for bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375176
