            Bug ID: 477682
Summary: When opening an Audio CD in Dolphin, kio keeps
                    accesssing it like crazy
    Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
           Product: kio-extras
           Version: 23.08.3
          Platform: Manjaro
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: AudioCD
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: c3i8zv...@mozmail.com

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When opening an Audio CD in Dolphin, we are presented with the neat system of
folders for automatic ripping (which is superconfusing and bloated for a normal
user, who does not expect this imho, but that's another matter). After that,
kio (?) keeps accessing and reading the disk, probably due to a CDDB lookup.
But: It never stops! I waited 15 minutes and the drive keeps on clacking and
reading, as long as Dolphin is open.

The problem presented here is: When trying to rip one audio file, it takes
hours (due to the constant access on the drive).

The CD is absolutely fine! When closing dolphin and using a third party tool to
rip (like K3b or Asunder), it works fine and is finished within minutes.
