I created two .desktop files, differing in the StartupWMClass property, but it looks to be ignored. Either .desktop file works by itself and correctly sets the icon on the task bar, but when both are present one takes precedence and the other is ignored. I have confirmed the value is correct with xprop. I am unsure how I can debug this further.
