Bug ID: 478890
Summary: URL dropdown, history and bookmarks is a mess
Classification: Applications
Product: angelfish
Version: 23.08.4
Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general

Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
In the Arch Linux ARM repository the plasma-angelfish package has been renamed
to angelfish, which for me was unnoticed for at least half year. When I noticed
the change and the Angelfish package has been updated to the latest 23.08
series the following series of bugs appeared:
- The URL dropdown/navigation bar previously showed me the bookmarks with the
latest accessed was on top. Currently only showing the history and not the
bookmarks which is annoying. Also, the order of the history is not updated
based on which was visited last. Now I can only reach the bookmarks from the
menu, which is not comfortable at all and slowing down the navigation.
- The "Clear" button in the History menu is not working at all. I can only
clear the history if I open the angelfish.sqlite file and remove all history
entries from there. If I remove all settings file letting the Angelfish create
a new sqlite database, the issue still persists.
- Some of the history and bookmarks entries don't have favicon.
- It would be nice if there will be an option to manipulate the behaviour of
the URL dropdown. I only want to see my bookmark entries there, not the history
in a random order.
