I cannot reproduce this, can you give me some more steps that reliably fail for
you.
I tried:
- I open kate
- I press the big area
- the keyboard appears
- I swipe the keyboard down (which itself is glitchy, but that's another bug)
- I press the big area in kate again. The keyboard is appearing.
