SUMMARY
My Krita files don't have thumbnails in OneDrive. For these files I've enabled
"Always keep on this device", disabled "Always show icons, not thumbnails", and
cleared the thumbnail cache. I have the latest version of the shell extension.
When I move the files to a folder not synced to OneDrive, the thumbnails show
correctly. Only in a folder synced to OneDrive do the thumbnails fail to load,
instead being replaced by the default Krita icon.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Save any image as a .kra file.
2. Sync the .kra file to OneDrive.
OBSERVED RESULT
The synced .kra file shows the default Krita icon.
EXPECTED RESULT
The synced .kra file should show a thumbnail preview of its contents.
