Yes but only with 150% scaling and when the screen is rotated. Otherwise there
is enough breathing space for the task icons to not be squished together.

because it only happens when there is not enough space. The underlying issue
that only task icons get squished when there is not enough space fundamentally
is not an issue with the spacers, because the system tray also should not
spread out as much when there is not enough space. However, flexible spacers
should always shrink first and fixing that would make the rest much less
annoying.
