It sounds more like a system problem... 10 bit mode is not HDR, though. Please
attach the contents of help->system information for bug reports to the report
and tell us exactly what hardware you have and how you have enabled "10 bit
display mode". Also please tell us what colorspace and channel depth your image
uses.
