I endorse this request. I was just about to open this very same issue, but I
notized Uwe did it first a few days ago.
I'm a hardcore user of yakuake since more than a decade, and I always missed
this functionality. My coworkers are using terminator o even tmux because those
can maximize the split view and restore it back.
Now konsole can do it, how hard should be to implement it on yakuake?
