STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start my system (or even at any time)
2. press meta key to open application launcher
3. hold alt key to see hints for sleep, shut down, hibernate, restart etc.
4. while holding alt I press "h" to execute hibernation
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens
EXPECTED RESULT
System should hibernate

Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro as of today newest version on stable branch (kernel
version 6.7.4-2-MANJARO 64-bit)

KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When application launcher is open I can use the hint for sleep (alt+s), restart
(alt+r), and shut down (alt+d). the only one that is missing is for
hibernation. As well, clicking on the hibernate button works.
