guest with Plasma 6: 1920 x 972 @ 100%
Host with Plasma 5: 3840 x 2160 @ 200%

when I raise the guest's resolution to 3840 x 2160 @ 200% it becomes even worse
and additionally the wallpaper of the VDs are painted all black except for one
on the front.
