STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Artix linux use it for 1 year no problems
2. Pacman -Syu to get plasma 6
3. Experience black screen lag/hang on lock and unlock
OBSERVED RESULT
When logging in, the desktop momentarily shows, then it goes black and only
mouse cursor is visible, if I mash the start button eventually it pops up and
the black screen goes away.
Similarly, when locking the session, instead of going to the lock screen the
screen goes black, sometimes monitor gets no signal, then the lock screen pops
up.
EXPECTED RESULT
Log in and desktop should load without black screen hang. Lock session and
login screen should load without black screen hang.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Artix Linux

KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This only happens on X11. Does not happen on Wayland. Did not happen before
Plasma 6 update.
