Please don't re-open bug reports closed by developers.
I understand it's frustrating to be told that an issue is fixed in a new
version of the software that you don't have, but sometimes that's just the way
life is.
Unfortunately we lack the resources to maintain the older version as well as
the newer one in this case, since the code has changed completely. If there's
anyone out there who wants to take on the work of this, they are 100% welcome
to, but absent that, I wouldn't expect a fix to materialize for 5.27.
