Bug ID: 485723 Summary: Bluedevil couldn't forward the playback start/stop button signal from headphones to phone, both connected through Bluetooth. Classification: Plasma Product: Bluedevil Version: 6.0.3 Platform: Compiled Sources OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: gameplayer201...@tutamail.com Target Milestone: --- *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY When pressing the playback start/stop button on Bluetooth headphones, it can only start the locally played audio on the computer, but it's not forwarding the stop/start signal to the phone what's also connected through Bluetooth. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Pair phone & headphones to the KDE Plasma. 2. Play audio on a phone, Bluetooth should forward sound through your computer to headphones. 3. Press the start/stop button on the headphones to control the phone audio playback. See no response. OBSERVED RESULT Audio is still being played on phone, regardless of pressing the start/stop button on headphones. EXPECTED RESULT Bluedevil would forward the signal to phone, making the audio stop or start, depending on state.
