--- Comment #40 from sethbots...@gmail.com --- Ideally a way for this to work is to be able to drag the icons from the tray itself, but editing the order with a JSON-like file would not be bad either (at least as a starting point). I've been looking for where exactly the order of the system tray icons is defined but I am unclear how exactly that works or where that happens. I think it'd be great if the Entries in the settings had no effect on how the icons were actually ordered in the panel, it's just a convenient way to see what group it's under, why should it have any effect on the actual order? So far I have seen a way, with AeroThemePlasma to change the position of the Expander Arrow from the right to the left. It's a weird change and gets reverted after every update, as well as involving moving the load order (I believe) of the different elements of the System Tray. You have to move the block defining the Expander Arrow above the rest of the List View or Grid View or something. I know currently that the order of the icons in the panel are based both on the grouping of the element, and the alphabetical name of the element. In a VM if you were to change "Audio Volume" to "Z Audio Volume" it would appear at the end of its associated list, but there are probably quite a few actual issues with doing this in an actual system. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
