This is NOT same as the pointed bug. First of all this is on Ubuntu-16.04
Xenial which is not the same as the ubuntu release from the other bug.
Downgrading the nvidia driver did not solve anything. Still have the same
problem with 304 driver as well.
Apart from downgrading the driver I also reinstalled the kde* and kde plasma
packages and still same issue.
