A vicious pleonasm that needs to be removed and rethought.
A bunch of programs starting with the letter K it's sounds like KKKK a
Brazilian way of smiling on the internet.
Some programs like Kdenlive, Kate, Kamoso or KDE partition manager sounds good
but why plasma need a KAlarm and not just an Alarm or Organizer, Mail Client,
CharSelect, Mahjongg, Mines, Patient, ... ?
I think these are old concepts that are still dragging on in an environment
that has become more modern where vicious pleonasms no longer fit.
I hope developers can see and re-evaluate this issue as I don't see in other
operating systems the need to reaffirm the name of the desktop environment in
program names.
