I just call it "Writer". So, shouldn't the 2-letter search match the start of any word in the name? And about having too many results, maybe that is only the case when file search is enabled. I always disable it, because I kind of think it's dumb to search the file system in the start menu search. So, in my case, "wr" would only match a few items.
