SUMMARY
I recently updated from 8.3.0 to 8.4.0 on Windows 11 64-bit. When digikam
started an error title was added to the view that said it couldn't find
exiftool or it was invalid. I went and manually set the exiftool to the one
installed by digikam. This caused digikam to freeze indefinitely.
I restarted digikam and picked the "download" option. I downloaded exiftool
12.92 64-bit windows. When I selected this a bunch of version information
showed up and digikam didn't freeze on me.
