SUMMARY
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. assign a tag to a photo (do not hit "Apply")
2. move the photo to another folder
3. answer "Yes" when asked if you want to apply the changes
OBSERVED RESULT
DK leaves a .xmp file in the source folder, moves the photo to the destination
folder, but does not apply the tag
EXPECTED RESULT
no .xmp file anywhere (my DK is not configured to do so), move the photo to the
destination folder, and applies the tag

Windows: 11 Home
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I set the component to "general" because I did not know which component I
should set it to.
