This makes sense, since I installed a nvidia driver update just one day ago and never had this issue before. So I think you'll be right and the issue is caused by a problem within nvidias driver... one more time :-( I hope there will be a fix released by nvidia soon. Otherwise I'll have to got back to the previous version. I think you may close this issue. Sorry for bugging you with that request. I'll be more careful next time before submitting a bugreport.
