SUMMARY
After upgrading from 8.3.0 to 8.4.0, I'm presented with a blank white window.
Clicking in the window produces results, as though I'd clicked on an image
thumbnail, so the app isn't frozen or dead - it's just not updating the window
for some reason. Downgrading to 8.3.0 solves the problem.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On a PC with 8.3.0 installed, upgrade to 8.4.0
2. Start the app
