--- Comment #2 from Milian Wolff <[email protected]> --- would indeed be nice, but I think I looked into this a couple of years ago quickly. the problem is that everything is done async there, we load potentially multiple projects at startup, and then need to restore the state "eventually", while the user may interact with the tree in-between.
