            Bug ID: 494349
Summary: kdeconnect keeps asking permission for mouse and
                    keyboard
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdeconnect
           Version: 24.08.1
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: plasmoid
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

I use kdeconnect everyday to do my stuffs, including moving mouse.
I remember one day that I had to authorize mouse and keyboard to access my PC
through my Android for remote control.
I remember checking the thing about keep this permission for future sessions.

Until now (I can’t tell when, but I think it’s not linked to 6.2.0 Plasma
update), it worked perfectly.
Now, I have to authorize mouse and keyboard access, even if permission for
future sessions is checked. Well at least it doesn’t ask again during the same
session, but it’s not what I expected from a « future sessions » check box.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch a Plasma session
2. Try to perform remote control from Android phone with kdeconnect

OBSERVED RESULT

It always ask for permission about mouse and keyboard even with « future
sessions » thing checked.

EXPECTED RESULT

It asks once and only once and do not ask again if I am okay with this.
