Bug ID: 373312 Summary: In mirrored display widgets disappear when moved Product: plasmashell Version: 5.8.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Multi-screen support Assignee: aleix...@kde.org Reporter: enr...@pressmail.ch CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 In my configuration I use two displays that are mirrored with the desktop layout. I have both displays on top of each other in the configuration, the unifying output option does not stick and is gone after each restart. The issue: Placing an icon from the application menu on the desktop works, but after moving the icon on the desktop it disappears. It returns when I open the add widgets option after a right click on the desktop. After a restart it is gone again(including all other widgets) and like before can be made to reappear with adding a widget. Another way to get them back is by placing the displays side by side in the interface, only one display will have them in that scenario. It almost seems that mirroring the displays creates two desktops one where the widgets go to and one that does not have them. I have had this issue on Fedora from F23 to F24 and on Opensuse Tumbleweed, I think from version 5.4 and up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
