Bug ID: 496670
Summary: Transformation layer ignores any parts of group layer
not within canvas bounds
Classification: Applications
Product: krita
Version: 5.2.6
Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Resize/Scale Image/Layer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
When using the transformation layer, most often seen when scaling down a large
image or cropping with an active transformation layer, if the source group
layer has content that sits outside of the canvas, it will not be visible in
the transformation layer.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Insert an image into a canvas
2. Group image
3. Scale down the group using a transformation layer
4. Crop the canvas to be smaller then the original size of the group
OBSERVED RESULT
The image is cut off, resulting in only a square of the original group being
visible, despite being scaled down enough to be entirely visible.
EXPECTED RESULT
The full layer should be visible, and not effected by canvas size.
