Now that the wiki is back... FYI: I just updated http://wiki.kde.org/tiki-index.php?page=KDECMakeIntro to say that $KDEDIR and $QTDIR are not supported by the KDE 4 cmake system.
I also updated a few other things in there, like where you can find the cmake 2.3.4 tarball. ..and some other minor cleanups.
