Since the problem only occurs with one cmake file, perhaps it could be left unpatched, and patch it once kdelibs 4.3 becomes required for kdepim? I would be hesitant to make QUIET the default, since some instances of pkg_check_modules() do put out useful additional error messages about specific missing library dependencies, which QUIET would suppress. -- David Jarvie.
