Oh, sorry, my fault! I forgot I manually edited the Makefile to add --trace to cmake command.

If you copy that command just to the command line ("/usr/local/bin/cmake -- trace -E cmake_progress_start /home/kde/src/superbuild/kdesupport/build/CMakeFiles /home/kde/src/superbuild/kdesupport/build/CMakeFiles/progress.marks"), you'll get the error you see below, if you remove the --trace, it works.
