  For the record, if anyone wants to override this flag, the following works 
also with clang 3.9:
  
    include(KDECompilerSettings)
    ...
    string(REPLACE "-fno-operator-names" "" CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS 
"${CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS}")
