As clearly stated elsewhere I am not fan of using Coffice name at all,
even if for purely technical uses. Coffice however is a name for a
completely separate shell developed independently (mobile, Android) on
top of Calligra Frameworks. That's like the only intersection with
Calligra. We of course encourage as many experimental UIs/shells as
possible. For the record, community's idea for names of "official"
mobile (non-Active) shells is Calligra Mini, IIRC. Any clash with
KOffice wasn't intentional, I believe.
