If you say "desktop, desktop, desktop", yes, that's too narrow. We suggest desktop, PLUS cross-platform applications (that's not a focus right now) PLUS cross-platform libraries (putting even more emphasis on KF5). I think those two can get us a lot of new users and hopefully developers.
