Hi all,
It's that time of month again.
If you're the moderator for one of the below lists, please moderate it's queue.
    20 kwin

It's all spam and I'm not logging in to delete spam. I go into the list if there is a real mail which needs to be moderated. Then I drop the spam.

It would be nice if we could get the spam mails not in the moderation queue in the first place. Would mean much less work for the moderators.

If we could automatically and reliably detect spam so it doesn't get
in the moderation queue, why have a moderation queue at all?

I'm sure there is already a ton of spam that is getting filtered
automatically. The mod queue gets what remains.

The current moderation queue for KWin has three messages. Two of them are:

Pending posts:
From: [email protected] on Thu Dec 1 22:09:45 2016
Subject: Your password will expire soon
Cause: Message is suspected to be spam

From: [email protected] on Fri Dec 2 05:39:03 2016
Subject: Payment Information
Cause: Message is suspected to be spam

I think if the cause is "Message is suspected to be spam" it can be dropped. We still have then quite a lot of mails coming in as spam.

If it's a legitimate mail I expect that the user will react based on the automated reply.

Cheers
Martin
