Hi

TLDR: If you are an admin in one of our channels you could help ease the
migration by inviting @kdetgadmin to the channel and making them an admin with
the power to add admins

As some of you will be aware we have for a while been planning to migrate from
our current IRC based Telegram bridge to a much more feature-full Matrix based
bridge, kindly provided by Element Matrix Services on our matrix homeserver.
The main feature being that on IRC and Matrix you will be able to talk to
"real" users representing those on Telegram, media is also bridged better now

So instead of messages going matrix<>irc<>telegram they will now go
irc<>matrix<>telegram

I have been slowly migrating a few channels over the last couple of weeks as we
tried to iron out any issues

To enable and manage this we need to have admin in the telegram channels, some
of you will have seen requests for this by myself, @sealne, and or @kdetgadmin

As part of running the bridge we now have a KDE Telegram Admin account
(@kdetgadmin) that owns the bridge bot and also should have admin in any of our
community Telegram Channels. This will minimise the bus factor risk in the
future as well. Channel owners may also wish to give channel ownership to
@kdetgadmin as well to give us as a community additional protection.
@kdetgadmin will have a similar role to the KDE_GC user on freenode irc network
going forward

Thanks for your help
