Hello everyone, This is the minutes of the Week 18 KF5 meeting. As usual it has been held on #kde-devel at 4pm Paris time.
Were present: afiestas, agateau, apol, dfaure, notmart, PovAddict, Riddell, shadeslayer, tosky, teo, vHanda and myself Announcement: * Beta 2 to be tagged end of this week! Please finish the last release blockers before that, to give us a full month of testing and bug fixing. * agateau attended the sprint and worked on translations there; * he has a review request to provide a simple way to add the cmake code to install translations from release tarballs; * he also resumed working on kapidox (he got a generated list of frameworks on the frontpage, can be filtered by platforms); * apol did some of the splitting tasks that were left during the sprint; * he also worked on the KDEInstallDirs refactoring to make sure everything is in the correct location when installing; * dfaure worked on a bunch of stuff at the sprint, his memory is blurry... something about the release scripts (was he drunk??); ;-) * he's hopefully ready for releasing beta 2 on sunday; * notmart has got plasma-framework imported into frameworks at last; * it triggered an issue with a duplicated class, but that's solved; * he created the framework-plasma product on bugs.kde.org; * PovAddict is investigating a ktexteditor crash on windows; * Riddell kept working on coinstallability issues: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/117148/ https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/117150/ https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/117864/ https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/117858/ * tosky is a bit late with the final kdoctools fixes for translations of docbooks; * he also pointed out that thanks to tsdgeos and blueck the translation infrastructure for kf5 is going to work soon; * teo is back on kwallermanager, fixing some last things; * he didn't port kwalletd but the tests pass; * vHanda took over maintainership of krunner; * ervin has been attending the sprint, helped with tasks there; * he is also preparing for the FISL talk next week, almost there; * last but not least he announced the post 5.0 plans; * shadeslayer is looking into an automated ABI checker tool for KF5; * afiestas worked with kai on the solid qml API, it is up for review; * he'll also put up for review the new Solid::PowerManagement API this week; * last but not least he ported kscreen and prepares it for making it a framework someday. If you got questions, feel free to ask. Regards. -- Kévin Ottens, http://ervin.ipsquad.net KDAB - proud supporter of KDE, http://www.kdab.com
