I have noticed that open konqueror windows with a Google search in

goes away if the tab with Google search results is closed.

This is especially noticable if I have a lot of windows open - I can get
as high as using up a single core and this goes down to almost zero
after closing all Google search tabs.

Does anyone else see this ? For reference, this is Intel(R) Core(TM)2
Duo CPU T9550, video card is nVidia Corporation G98M [Quadro NVS 160M].

This is true for me as well, with firefox. It's the auto-repeating
java-script that Google uses to accelerate your searches. The same is
also true when logged into Google Plus.

Hmm.. I wonder if there is an easy way to stop/pause all the scripts. Like the ESC used to do for GIF animations. I don't want them running if I am not using the window, especially if the tab is minimized or hidden.
