Hi Nishita Great to hear you want to get involved in digiKam. Your first step would be to download latest source code and compile it on your distro. Second step, go through the code, understand the structure. Look at the image processing code if you are more interested in that. If you have any problems/doubts, dont hesitate to mail me back or on digikam's mailing list.
