Hi Vishesh, sorry to take so long to get back to you. I wanted to narrow the problem down and it it took quite a while - I have a lot of files indexed ;) But I did get it down to several files that was causing the indexer to loop endlessly. I've logged a bug report here:

I'd really like to see this one ironed out! p.s Nepomuk search was actually very useful to me recently in finding all the files and emails relevant to my superannuation details with my employer.
