I am sure Anne-Marie doesn't mind that an active new contributor is taking
care of KAppTemplate.
I remember her writing to kde-edu about having fewer time for KDE in the
forseeable future and handing over other responsibilities to capable people
there as well.

If this is enough +1, is it possible to replace the current maintainer (
https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdesdk/kapptemplate ) ? That would
be great :)
By the way, KAppTemplate has now an experimental frameworks branch with
a working(=usable) application, but there is still much work left.
