Let's add also the maintainer (Koos) in CC: as well.
The situation is complicated a bit by the fact that the appstream file was
added in master, while the development is in 0.12. The last version was tagged
from that branch in fact. We could just copy the file from that branch and
copy the translations.

Koos, what do you think? When we discussed about kmplayer two years ago you
mentioned that you preferred to the keep a separate 0.12 branch, but at this
point maybe it makes sense to just merge it. But in any case, can I/you
proceed with a 0.12 beta2 or even a stable 0.12?

With the current pace of development, and given the fact that KMPlayer is the
only user of a deprecated framework (KMediaPlayer), I'd say it's not worth it
right. Should the development restart, we could re-evaluate this
