Hi, I guess the quickest solution for you would be to modify these packages in your distribution to meet your customers' requirements. If we were to discuss what should happen in the mainline kgeography and marble source code, I suggest that we consider these approaches: 1. In KGeography we can add a new map "Russia and Crimea", in addition to Russia. 2. In Marble we can paint Crimea in a different color, like if it was independent. However I guess most of Marble users resort to OpenStreetMap and ignore whatever maps are created and shipped by Marble team itself.
