Adriaan,

https://solaris.bionicmutton.org/hg/kde4-specs-dev/rev/638f9491755c ... you
suggests use as newest as much possible version of pkgbuild. 1.3.98 is the
newest in this time.

But ...

this version doesn't work on any of my workstations (S10) or laptop (OSOL
109). I've commited to CBE subversion repository update pkgbuild to its
latest stable version which is 1.3.3. Cmake has been updated to 2.6.3. If
you look a bit closer to CBE on OSOL, you can find that only five tools have
to be build on OSOL 11/08 (b101) or newer (SFpkgbuild, CBEcmake, CBEyasm,
CBEenv, CBEant). S10 needs complete CBE tool's stack ;P

The CBE source code is stored in a Subversion repository. Anonymous access
is available to the CBE sources for everyone, with the following commands -

  luc at merlin:~/> svn co
svn+ssh//anon at svn.opensolaris.org/svn/jds/jds-cbe/trunk cbe

There is cbe-install (cbe-remove) script. It works for S10 and OSOL
(Nevada). I'll have to finished with test on S10 tomorrow. Latest CBE svn
trunk runs fine on OSOL.

When I'll done with S10 then I can make newer snapshost of CBE tarballs
(source and binaries).

I'd like take a deeper look to newest pkgbuild version as soon as possible,
but I'm quite busy with other things :(

Regards ...
